MapQuest: Directions Maps GPS Navigation

MapQuest is a Global Positioning System (GPS) app that displays a map and provides directions. The interface is simple and easy to use, giving the user the option to type in their destination and request directions. The app offers both driving and walking directions. Points of interest such as gas stations and grocery stores are marked on the map, a convenient feature whenever a user needs to fill their tank or grab a bite to eat. However, MapQuest misses out on the opportunity to give directions for those who ride on public transit, a feature which several other mainstream GPS apps have.
